Subject: Kristina, a thank you and suggestion on your environmental
Good afternoon Kristina!
We wanted to say thank you for your page,
http://www.luxuryhomesintl.com/green-home-resources.html , all the way from
Kentucky! My Girl Scouts found your resources to be so helpful while they
are working very hard on earning their Go Green! badges this week!
The kids would like to suggest another page, as a thank you for being such a
"Going Green in Your Home"
They wanted to make a special request to add this to your page! I took a
look and thought it had a lot of great information...I think it would be a
big help to your other visitors.
Thanks again and please let me know if you include it...they would be
delighted to see it up!
Hope you have a great Wednesday!
Kristina responds in kind...

What a sweet message to receive from such an esteemed group of young ladies
and Sister Scouts. It made my day and you bet we will be putting your page
up. I will cc: my webmaster. Your Go Green badges sound very cool.
Please tell the girls, in another week or two, I will be launching a brand
new site with all the green information plus your page! I will email you
once it's launched so you can see it.
Your thoughtful message got me into my old trunk and I took a picture of my
girl scout badges and Scout Book. I wonder if the badges look the same.
Our troop 52 had a daffodil as our symbol. This book was $1. I was
curious if the Girl Scout Promise and the Girl Scout Laws were the same now
as they were in 1963?
Girl Scout Promise
On my Honor I will try:
to do my duty to God and my Country.
To help other people at all times.
And to obey the Girl Scout Laws.
The Girl Scout Laws
1) A Girl Scout's honor is to be trusted.
2) A Girl Scout is loyal.
3) A Girl Scout's duty is to be useful and to help others.
4) A Girl Scout is a friend to all and a sister to every other Girl Scout.
5) A Girl Scout is courteous.
6) A Girl Scout is a friend to animals.
7) A Girl Scout obeys orders.
8) A Girl Scout is cheerful.
9) A Girl Scout is thrifty.
10) A Girl Scout is clean in thought, word and deed.
Well there is a little history for you.
Please tell the girls I am honored and thank them for the new page. I am
looking forward to seeing it up on the site as well.
Thank you so very much for writing. This was the best message I received
